Terms & Conditions

These terms govern access to Washington County Busted Mugshots. By using the site, a visitor accepts the rules, limits, and disclaimers below. Anyone who does not accept them should stop using the site.

This is a private reference service with no government affiliation. Neither the site nor its advertising partners provide FCRA-covered services, private investigations, or consumer reports.

Nature of the Site

Washington County Busted Mugshots is privately owned. It is not connected with Washington County, Colorado, the Sheriff, Justice Center, courts, CDOC, BOP, ICE, or another public body. It stores no official records and cannot confirm custody, release a person, file a court document, or act for an agency. Its role is to point visitors toward official sources and independent search tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

Access is conditioned on lawful and respectful use.

  • Do not violate any law or court order.
  • Do not stalk, harass, threaten, deceive, or harm another person.
  • Do not use site information for prohibited FCRA decisions.
  • Do not attempt unauthorized access to the site or related systems.
  • Do not use bots, scrapers, or automated extraction tools.
  • Do not disrupt service or interfere with another visitor's access.

No Consumer Reports

The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports, and neither it nor its advertising partners offers screening services. Users agree not to apply site information to hiring or firing, housing or tenant decisions, creditworthiness, insurance rates, licenses, permits, government-program eligibility, or any other purpose regulated by the FCRA.

Links and Outside Services

Pages may link to government portals, jail contacts, court systems, corrections locators, legal resources, news sites, and third-party search services. Those destinations are independent. A link does not endorse their content, and this site does not control their availability, accuracy, prices, results, security, or data practices. Review their terms before use.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, suitable for a purpose, uninterrupted, free of errors or security flaws, or that a partner search returns every possible result. Custody and public records can change fast. Nothing here is an official statement from an agency.

Limits of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site, its owners, and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.

User Indemnification

A user agrees to defend and hold the site, its owners, and contributors harmless from claims, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees caused by that user's conduct, misuse, violation of these terms, or infringement of another person's rights.

Intellectual Property

Unless a source states otherwise, original text, graphics, logos, arrangement, and code belong to Washington County Busted Mugshots or its content partners. They may not be copied, republished, distributed, modified, or commercially exploited without written permission. Government records linked from the site remain subject to their own rules.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when it is posted. Continued use after posting means acceptance of the revised terms.

Access May Be Revoked

Access may be restricted, suspended, or ended at any time, with or without notice, including when conduct threatens the site, violates these terms, or harms another user.

Colorado Governing Law

Colorado law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any permitted dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Colorado. Government record access remains governed by the applicable Colorado statutes and the responsible custodian.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
